 Randy "Macho Man" Savage

Be A Man

I'm hurt. It seems everyone is trying to get in the rap game and it's becoming a big problem. Maybe it's the lure of money, fame, and bitches. Or maybe it's the fact that you can still work at McDonalds and roll in a hoopty as long as you got your doo-rag under your fitted and you're sitting on 22's listening to some G-Unit. Whatever the reason, the Macho Man Randy Savage has no excuse! Who the hell told him if pro wrestling doesn't pan out he can be a rap star? I'm a fan of the Macho Man, but as a wrestler, not a rapper. His cameo in Spiderman was the worst performance I've seen since Jar Jar Binks in Star Wars Episode I. The album "Be A Man" is a really bad album, and thereís really not much more to say about it.

Did you know he made a diss track? I know what you're saying, "who the fuck is Macho Man dissin?" Well I can tell you it's not Lil Jon, Chingy, or any other well known bullshit rapper who, like my man Big Paul Tucker says, need to be "shakiní like some dice." No. Macho Man goes at Hulk Hogan. The same Hulk Hogan who asked everyone "whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild on you?!" I guess now I have to tell the short story of why. Macho Man says that Hulk Hogan thinks he's better than him, and that Hogan also took shots at Macho Manís father in an interview. Umm....Macho, Hulk Hogan is a multimillionaire, while you do small cameo roles on TV and movies which are like a minute long. The feud is the typical Hatfield and McCoys go round with a solid "who fucking cares" banner. The album is 13 tracks of pure garbage with a dash of rat piss. Macho Man Randy Savage's attempt at commercial rap is a nightmare I wish I never listened to. I give this album 1 tomato and that's hard for me to do as the self-proclaimed top wrestling fan of them all. I only gave 1 tomato because it's the Macho Man.

Encore

Layover

If you love hip hop then this is the album for you. Encore's "Layover" is an album I've been waiting for since I heard the lead single "Zigga Zigga" which makes my head nod more then Monica Lewinski during an intern

meeting with Bill Clinton. Encore is one of those artists that you can depend on for tight lyrics, and his past projects are a perfect example.

Many of you hip hop heads got to check Encore live at Baby Steps where he was a humble emcee who came here a week after 9-11, which was a tough time for a show, but Core still did his thing. Encore is very real, and the "Layover" is a testament to what hip hop is. This LP is 12 tracks of pure hip hop genius featuring special guest appearances from Opio & A-Plus of Souls of Mischief, Pep Love, Ladybug Mecca, Nathan Thomas, and Arcee. I would definitely rank "Layover" in the "must have" category. The tracks that make this purchase worth it are "Zigga Zigga", "Essentially Yours", "City Livin", and the title track "Layover." Underground hip hop at it's best. Don't sleep. I give this album 4 tomatoes.

Deep In The Grooves -by Emcee Sick

The Inside Track on All Brand New True-School Hip Hop Records

Otay,

Thereís a whole lot of Kenn Stizzarrr doing his thing-thing right now, as well as his man Oddissee, who is also off the hinge! Walk the Walk, as well as mad cuts off the Halftooth Records sampler are definitely flavorful additions to our charts and playlists. Smooth flows, clever lines, dope rhymes.... and wowwee on the beats, itís all right there. The only worry I have is that these cats are droppiní mad joints in very quick succession, and would hate to see them get watered down to keep that release pace going.

The new Black Love releases have my man Dr. Oop aka Droop Capone making a very smooth transition from his normally high-voice funny style to taking a dip in deeper waters of death, learning, sex, love and wisdom with straight story-lines (absolutely preach-free!!) on his new single. The joints weíre rockin are called One Life & Generation Epps. The other songs on this single are not really doing it beat-wise for us, however, Oop keeps comin back with some fresh shizzillee to keep the deejays fizzillee.

My man Cool Taj of the Vets Ní Thieves hit us with the ill preview of his upcoming single, and Ghost Town is gonna be the jump-off.... keep your eyes out for that. When it drops Iím gonna help him service yaíll cats with it personally so that you can sample a little Buff-life vibes as spoke by a thorough cat.

Below is a PSA regarding annoying new trends in the pop-music world:

STOP REMIXING THE BLACK ALBUM AND TURNING IT OTHER COLORS! GET OFF 9TH WONDERíS CIZZOCK, HE DID IT WITH N - A - S, NOT HOV. GODíS STEPSSON IS FLY, THIS OTHER SHITE IS STRAIGHT WIZZY! STOP PUTTING ONE PERSONíS (subpar) ALBUMíS ACCAPELLAS OVER ANOTHER GROUP'S MUSIC AND ACTING LIKE YOUíRE DOING SOMETHING! HOW BOUT A MOBY REMIX ALBUM OF M.O.P.! THEY YELL, AS HE DANCES STRANGELY IN AMBIENT LIGHTING TO MATCH A PONDEROUS SOUNDSCAPE..... Make whatever you want of that, just leave the cross-genre acapella remixing alone, kiddies. -This rant has also been brought to you in part by Dj Rich the Snitch
